Franschhoek Vineyard Hopper

The Franschhoek Hopper is available to guests staying within the Franschhoek Village.
This is a local Hop On – Hop Off wine service full of fun and great wines.
At the Franschhoek Vineyard Hopper we operate daily between 09h00 to 17h00 (closed on Xmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day).
We take a maximum of 12 guests on the Vineyard Hopper per day, so pre-bookings are essential. WE ONLY COLLECT GUESTS IN FRANSCHHOEK (should you stay outside Franschhoek, please ask us to quote on transfers if we are available to do so).
Please notethe Vineyard Hopper is not a race to see who can drink the most – it is a fun way to enjoy our lovely wine region and we RESERVE the RIGHT to discontinue this service at ANY TIME if we feel that things are getting out of hand with individuals getting drunk!

About the Franschhoek Vineyard Hopper

Within the above times (9 to 5), guests are free to visit as many wine estates, restaurants or places of interest (from the lists below) as they want and are able to fit into the 4 or 7 hours.
Unlike other services in the Franschhoek region where guests are on a schedule and often part of a very large group, the Franschhoek Vineyard Hopper is totally flexible both in terms of where guests choose to go and how long they visit each establishment.
This is ideal for guests or small groups of people who would like to do their own thing (perhaps a special tasting or picnic for lunch).

So How Does the Franschhoek Vineyard Hopper Work?

Guests can choose where they would like to go from the list below.
Once we have collected you we will take you to the first wine estate, restaurant or place of interest -if you do not have anything pre-planned or you need advice on where to go – we will gladly assist you in making suggestions.
We will then drop you off and introduce you to the staff at the wine estate who will then be taking care of you. Once you are ready to move on to the next wine estate you can give us a call (or ask the wine estate to call us) and we will be there in a flash to collect you (we ask that you please allow 10 to 15 minutes) for us to reach you after you called.
This is a fun and safe way (no drinking and driving) for you to get around and you also have a lot more options available to you vs. any other transport option in the village.
