Experience the best of South African wine and food:

Wine and Food Tours in South Africa are becoming increasingly popular as more and more wine estates offer something more than just a traditional wine tasting to lure guests.
Not only this, but international trends demand wine and food tourism to offer “out of the box” experiences as almost everyone with a mobile device are able to comment on positive developments and events at wine estates – something that can’t be ignored by wine estates across the world.
The Western Cape Province of South Africa, with Cape Town as its beautiful capital, is without doubt the Gourmet Capital of Africa.
Our mouth-watering range of wine and food tours are carefully designed to offer value for money gourmet experiences to everyone visiting the Cape Winelands.

We are SO dedicated that we even go as far as to “taste lots of new vintages for you in our off-season” – to make sure we are up-to-date with everything happening in the wine industry.
We operate our own fleet of vehicles and all the wine tour guides and drivers are fully trained, registered and qualified.
Al the vehicles at Wine and Food Tours carry legal and up to date permits, operating licences and are always clean, tidy and undamaged.
Our specialised wine and food tourism tour guides are all educated by the Cape Wine Academy (as mentioned above).

Most of our day tours (group or private) visit the wine growing regions of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.
However, you are welcome to spend a whole day in only one area (on a private tour basis) where you can explore all the wines, food, galleries and other hidden gems of that area.
Below is a short description on each wine area – perhaps this can assist you in choosing the right private tour.

Stellenbosch is only 45 minutes from Cape Town by car, so the wine and food areas are easily accessible to everyone visiting the Western Cape Region.
